Step 1 - Register

Register for the course of your choice. 

Use the register tab to complete your registration form.

We'll send you a confirmation email with a course outline listing all of our policies & procedures as well as the DMV requirements to obtain a permit.

*A permit is not required to register or pay but you MUST have it to begin working on the course, including In-Car Driving for the private/adult lessons. 

Email us a copy of the temporary permit receipt from the DMV. 

DMV Requirement to Obtain a Permit:

-Must be 14.5- 

-Parent/guardian present w/ ID-

-Birth Certificate- 

-Social Security Card-

-Photo ID-

(Passport or student ID card)

-Proof of residence-

(Utility bill or bank statement)

-Letter of Compliance-

(Proof of enrollment in good standing from school counselor)

-Homeschool Affidavit-

(DMV provides; signed by parent/guardian)

*Request permit be sent to Green Light Driving Academy, LLC in Payette, ID.

Make your payment online or in person.

Use the services tab for credit/debit cards or call, email, or text to arrange cash, check, or Venmo payment.

Once payment is received, check your email for instructions to get signed onto the IODE Online Classroom. We'll follow up with an invitation email.

30 hours online education

IODE Online Classroom, work at your own pace from any device!

6 hours observation

Observe the driving habits of your parent/guardian and all other drivers. Log experiences on our OUTSIDE OBSERVATION LOG due no later than the final day of driving. 

6 hours in-car instruction

(MUST FINISH ONLINE CLASSROOM 100% FIRST)

You will receive an email with available driving slots to choose from. Drive one-on-one with the same instructor for 2 hours each drive, 3 days total!
